Exceptional websites for ambitious businesses

I design, optimise and manage high-performance websites that get found in search and convert visitors into leads, bookings and sales.

Hi, I’m Ollie

I design and build websites for established businesses; construction firms, healthcare, professional services, B2B services, eCommerce brands and the manufacturers who supply them.

Your established, your work is good and your reputation is solid, but you know you could be doing more.

When someone gets your name, the first thing they do is Google you. Whoever shows up first and looks the part gets the call. If your website is dated, slow or invisible, the job quietly goes to someone whose isn't.

That's the bit I take care of.

I build you a website that reflects the high standards of your work, making sure it's found by the people searching for what you do, and then managing it so it keeps performing.

One project, one person, start to finish. You work directly with me. No agency, no account managers, no jargon, and no reports you need a translator for.

I've spent 25 years building and running businesses through to director level, so I treat your website the way you treat a job: priced honestly, done properly, and judged on the result.

The result is a website you're proud to send people to with enquiries and orders landing because of it..

Who I work with

I work with established businesses that have built their reputation the hard way and need a website that reflects it.

Most of my clients come by recommendation, and most of them share the same story: the work is excellent, the word of mouth is strong, and the website is the weakest thing about the business.

Every sector has its own customers, its own buying habits and its own way of earning trust. A canopy manufacturer is not sold the way a physiotherapy clinic is.

So while every project follows the same path, the design, the wording and the search strategy are shaped around how your customers actually choose.

These are the sectors I know best.

Construction & Trades

Builders, manufacturers, installers and the specialist trades that supply them. Your customers want proof of quality before they call, so the website has to show the standard of the work and make getting a quote effortless.

Healthcare & Wellbeing

Clinics, practitioners and therapists. Your customers are choosing someone to trust with their health, so the website has to feel professional, personal and reassuring from the first second.

Leisure & Hospitality

Venues, food and drink, retail and experiences. Your customers buy with their eyes, so the website has to look as good as the experience you deliver and make booking or buying simple.

Professional & Specialist services

Consultancies, practices and niche B2B specialists. Your customers are comparing credibility, so the website has to demonstrate expertise clearly and give serious enquiries a serious way in.

Ecommerce businesses

I work with makers, retailers and brands selling real products online. Your customers are strangers deciding whether to trust you with their card details, so the website has to present your products beautifully and make buying effortless.

How a website project works

Stage 1
Design

I take time to get to know your business, your customers and the impression you need to make, then design a website that looks the part to earn trust in seconds. Design is not decoration, it is the reason the right clients pick up the phone.

Stage 2
Build

A fast, clean website built to rank from day one. Layout, wording and calls to action are all shaped to turn visitors into enquiries. Built properly under the bonnet too, so it loads quickly, works on every device and gives Google no excuses.

Stage 3
Launch

A website nobody finds is a brochure in a drawer. When your site goes live I set up everything Google needs, including your Business Profile, Search Console, analytics and local listings, so the people searching for what you do actually reach you.

StaGe 4
Management

Then I stay on. Ongoing search optimisation, content and improvements based on what your enquiries tell us. This is why my clients stay for years: the website keeps earning its keep, and you always know what's working and why.

FAQs

Your frequently asked questions, answered.

What does a project actually involve?

We start with your business, your customers and what a good enquiry looks like. I then design and build the website, set up everything Google needs to find it, and manage it from there. You deal with me directly at every stage, one person from start to finish.

How long does a website take to build?

Most projects are live within four to six weeks, depending on how much content we're starting with. I design and build fast, clean sites made to rank, not sprawling projects that drift for months.

What happens after the site goes live?

Launch is the start, not the finish. I set up your Google Business Profile, Search Console and analytics, get the site indexed properly, and then move into ongoing management, improving search visibility and turning more visitors into enquiries month on month.

How much does it cost?

I'm upfront and transparent with my rates, which you can [see here]. There are no hidden extras and no locked-in contracts. A new website is priced as a project; ongoing management is a monthly retainer. If I don't think it's the right investment for you yet, I'll tell you.

I already have a website. Can you work with it?

Sometimes, but not always. If your site is genuinely holding you back, I'll tell you straight rather than take your money optimising something broken. If it's fundamentally sound, I'll work with it. Either way, you'll get an honest answer before you spend anything.

How long does it take to see results on Google?

Honestly? Months, not weeks. Local improvements often show within two to three months; competitive national terms take six to twelve. Anyone promising page one in 30 days is selling you something that doesn't exist. That said, my clients have seen 30% enquiry growth within two months when the fundamentals were fixable, and a new site built properly starts from a much stronger position than an old one patched up.

Do you guarantee first page rankings?

No, and you should run from anyone who does. Nobody controls Google. What I can guarantee is honest advice, work prioritised by commercial impact, and clear reporting on what's improving and why.

Will I understand what you're doing?

Yes, always. My clients tell me this is the thing they value most. One described himself as "an analogue man in a digital world" and still understood every step. If I can't explain something in plain English, I shouldn't be doing it.

Do you only work with local businesses?

No. I'm based in Great Malvern, Worcestershire and love working with local businesses across Worcester and the West Midlands, but I also work with clients right across the UK. Everything can be done remotely, though I'm always happy to meet face to face when it's practical.

What happens in the conversation?

We talk about your business, your customers and what you want to achieve. I'll take a look at your current website and your visibility on Google beforehand, so you'll come away with genuinely useful observations whether we work together or not. No pitch, no pressure.

How do I know if it's working?

You'll see it in your enquiries and sales, and so will I, because that's what I report on. Rankings and traffic are how we get there, but the number that matters is how many of the right people are contacting your business. My longest clients have been with me for years for exactly that reason.

Thinking about a new website?

Start a conversation with a straightforward chat about your business and whether I'm the right fit. No pitch, no pressure.
