ABOUT
Hi, I’m Ollie, a growth marketing consultant helping SME business owners generate and scale sustainable revenue.
There's a better way to do grow.
I built my first business website in the early 2000’s but I didn't start in digital.
For 25 years, I worked in senior business sales and marketing roles. Multi-million pound revenue channels. Boardrooms where every decision had real consequences and the margins for error were small.
Along the way, I launched businesses of my own, some of which still trade very successfully with their new owners today.
In early 2024, I decided to take everything I'd learned and build something from scratch. Not another generic agency. A consultancy that brings proper commercial thinking for businesses that have been let down by the traditional model and deserve better.
What led me to Growth Marketing.
After two and a half decades in business, I kept seeing the same thing.
Smart, capable business owners — paying for websites that sat there doing nothing. Handing money to agencies that delivered a report and vanished. Having SEO conversations that felt more like a foreign language than a commercial discussion.
It made no sense to me. These were serious businesses. They needed serious thinking, not jargon, not dashboards full of vanity metrics and not an account manager reading from a script. So I built the thing I wished existed.
What I specialise in.
01 — Strategy first
I start with your commercial goals and work backwards. Before we talk tactics, we talk business. What does growth look like for you? What's in the way? Where are the real opportunities?
02 — Websites that work
Not just good-looking. Built to convert, built to rank, and built to represent your business properly from day one.
03 — Local & national SEO
Getting found by the right people, in the right places. Plain-English SEO that's tied to pipeline — not just traffic.
04 — Growth marketing
For businesses that want a senior strategic partner sitting alongside their team — owning the digital direction month to month, not just dipping in and out.
05 — Google Business Profile
One of the most underused tools in local business. I help clients turn their GBP into a genuine source of leads and credibility.
06 — Branding & positioning
Because growth marketing on a weak brand is like putting a turbocharger on a car with flat tyres. We fix the foundations first.
The businesses I work best with.
Over the years I've worked with businesses at very different stages and in very different sectors. But the clients who get the most from working with me tend to share a few things in common.
They're serious about growth.
They're not looking for a quick fix or a box-ticking exercise
They want a genuine partner who'll invest in understanding their business
They need someone to take real ownership of their performance.
They value straight talking. They want honest conversations, clear recommendations, and reporting that means something and not clever reports and metrics dressed up to look impressive.
And they've usually been let down before. They've tried agencies, tried doing it themselves, tried a bit of both — and they've arrived at the conclusion that there has to be a better way.
A bit more about me.
I'm based in the UK in Malvern, Worcestershire — one of the most beautiful parts of the country, and a place that very much shapes how I like to operate. Thoughtfully, without unnecessary noise, and with a clear view of what matters.
Alongside Midlands Digital, I'm co-founder of Feedback Flows, an EdTech platform for UK schools and Multi-Academy Trusts. I serve as Digital Growth Lead for Worcester Street Kitchen, a local not-for-profit doing genuinely important community work and I run a free advisory service for young business owners getting started online because good advice shouldn't only be available to people who can already afford it.
I'm a Semrush approved agency partner, a Squarespace Circle Gold Partner, and an active member of the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce.
I also publish The Digital Debrief — a monthly newsletter for SME owners who want practical growth marketing insights without having to wade through the noise. You can sign up here.
When I'm not working, you'll find me somewhere around the Malvern Hills with my wife Jess, Travis (a blonde Chihuahua with considerably more confidence than his size warrants), and Vera, the miniature Jack Russell who spends her days loyally sat next to my desk.
