About Ollie

There's a good chance I already know why you're here. Whether you've been referred by a client or found me on Google (which would be fitting), you're likely running a decent business that isn't showing up in search the way it should be. And every day it doesn't, the enquiries go to someone else.

Maybe you've tried an agency and got monthly reports full of graphs that never turned into customers. Maybe you've got a "web person" who says they do SEO but can't tell you what's actually changed. Or maybe you've just watched a competitor with a worse business climb above you on Google and thought: right, enough.

Whatever brought you here, the question underneath is the same one nobody has answered for you cleanly: why aren't we being found, and what would it take to fix it?

That's the job I do. I'm an independent SEO consultant. Not an agency, not a freelancer juggling fifty accounts. One experienced specialist, working directly with you, focused on getting your business in front of the people who are ready to buy from it.

I didn't come to this from marketing. I spent 25 years working my way up through management to director and board-level roles, including a private equity backed exit, before moving into consultancy. I understand a P&L and the pressure that sits behind a revenue target because I've carried both. So I don't treat SEO as a technical exercise or report on activity for the sake of it. I treat it as a commercial investment, and I measure it the way you would: in enquiries, orders and revenue

That background is also why my clients say I explain things properly. I've sat on the other side of the table listening to consultants speak in jargon, and I promised myself I'd never do it. Everything I do for you gets explained in plain English, and if I can't explain it simply, I shouldn't be doing it.

I only work with a small number of clients at a time. SEO done properly requires understanding your business, your customers and your market, and that doesn't scale across a big client list. So I'm careful about fit, and you should be too.

If any of this sounds about right, the next step is a straightforward conversation. I'll have looked at your website and your Google visibility before we speak, so you'll get something useful out of it either way. No pitch deck, no obligation. And if SEO isn't the right investment for your business yet, I'll tell you that as well.
