About Ollie.
I'm a UK-based digital growth consultant, web designer and fractional chief revenue officer. Most of my work comes down to one thing: helping SME owners turn under-performing digital assets into something that actually pulls its weight commercially. I've spent over 25 years in senior management and director-level roles, including a few private equity-backed exits, which is where I learned to sit comfortably at the join between strategy, brand and digital.
Along the way I've delivered branding and marketing work for thousands of SMEs, plus project work for names like IKEA, Rolls-Royce, Jaguar Land Rover and BMW. I try to bring the kind of senior, commercially-minded thinking usually locked inside bigger organisations to owner-managed businesses — and then actually do the work, rather than just advise on it.
I keep things simple. That's not a slogan so much as a habit: clarity tends to beat complexity, and most businesses are better served by a clear plan done well than a clever one done halfway. My work spans web design, SEO, content strategy and growth consultancy, all built on one belief — a website is a sales and marketing asset to be grown and managed, not a project to be finished and forgotten. I work on a consultancy model rather than an agency one, and I'd rather be judged on commercial results than on how busy I look.
I work principally through Midlands Digital Services Ltd, based in Great Malvern, Worcestershire, with clients across the UK. I write The Digital Debrief, and I'm co-founder of Feedback Flows, an assessment and marking platform built for Multi-Academy Trusts and the teachers who serve them. I'm also co-director of Paper and Polythene Direct and provide digital support for the not-for-profit Worcester Street Kitchen. Recent 2026 projects include work for IFA Outsource, 1st Choice Blinds and CFM North East.
What I do.
Brand design
Before a single page gets built, I work out who you actually are. Your name, your look, your tone, the thing that makes someone pick you over the firm down the road. Get this right and everything after it gets easier because every website, every post, every quote you send out is pulling in the same direction instead of looking like five different businesses wearing the same logo. A clear brand isn't vanity. It's what makes you memorable, trustworthy, and easy to say yes to.
Website design
Now I give that brand a home. I design and build custom sites shaped around one question: who's it for, and what do you want them to do? No templates with your logo dropped in, no locked platforms, no mystery code. Just a fast, mobile-first site that loads quickly, looks the part, and quietly guides visitors towards picking up the phone or filling in the form. When it's done, it's yours — built to grow with you, not rented back to you.
Search optimisation
A beautiful website nobody finds is just an expensive business card. So I make sure Google understands your site, trusts it, and shows it to the people already searching for what you do. Proper local SEO foundations, the right pages, the right words, the technical bits done correctly from day one. The goal is simple: when someone in your area types in what they need, you're the name that comes up — not the competitor who got there first.
Ongoing management
Websites go stale fast: out-of-date details, creeping load times, security gaps, broken links. So I keep yours sharp. Updates, backups, security, speed and content changes, all handled before they become the reason a customer bounces. You send a message, it gets done, no chasing, no dashboards, no waiting a fortnight. Your site stays fast, current and secure while you get on with running the business it was built to grow.
